Un-Freeze Windows Explorer

It happens to all of at some point or another, your working along and all of a sudden windows explorer comes to a screaching halt, and becoms unresponsive. You could always do the trusty Reset on the computer, or try this little trick.

When you have lost control of Explorer, press CTRL-ALT-DEL to start task manager.
Goto the Processes tab, locate and select explorer.exe and click the End Process Button.

Now, goto the Applications tab and click the New Task button.

Type explorer.exe into the box and click the OK button.

If windows has restored itself, you can close the task manager and resume your normal activites. If it didn't, you may have some other problem then explorer. You can retry the above actions, if it doesn't work, you will have to restart your computer.
